Yes. In some ways there are, like Clint dodged bullets by going underwater. He also got ready really fast when Cally left so the men could try to kill him.

I think there is both good and evil people in the movie, it is easy to tell who is evil, but im not sure who is good.

yes,I feel that he came there to exact revenge against the town using a term in the bible justifying this revenge and that is "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth".

Yes, I do think that there is a strong Biblical influence in High Plains Drifter. The entire movie was based around the idea of men taking revenge in their own hands and as a result, both parties suffered. Revenge is something that men should not take into their own hands because God's decisions are right and just and He will defend His people and never leave them abandoned.

There is no biblical connection to High Plains Drifter. At least none that I am sure the makers intended. Filled with sex and violence and revenge, these are things that God wanted to keep His people from. He (God) did not let David build His temple in the Old Testament because David had shed blood. He also said Vengeance Is Mine! If you look hard enough and long enough into anything you can find any kind of connection that will suit your purposes.

yes I think it does relate to the biblcal sense. Because God said the devil will all ways be around to take revenge on people and they will take revenge on other people as well. So I think the stranger is the devil in a human form.

There may be a biblical component in the character of Mordecai.

The best biblical componant that I can tie to this movie would be "Love thy neighbor." If the town took care of the sheriff than none of what Clint Eastwood did would have happened.

i think that it is linked to the bible in some way. just like it says an eye for an eye.

i think that there are a few points that this is connected with the bible, but the bible tells us thou shalt not kill, and love thy neighbor. there was both of these.

Yes, I think that the name Mordicai was very much played with the role in the bible. They both were threatened and both thought weak.
